Alice C. Carter passed away at the age of 79 in Hollister, Sunday morning. Born in San Mateo County, grew up in Burlingame and had become a long time resident of San Jose. She had been an executive secretary for several companies in Santa Clara County for many years.
Alice is survived by her son, Kevin Carter, wife, Brooke, of Hollister, grandchildren, Chad and Alyssa Carter of Hollister, sister, Patricia Hartnett of Redwood Shores and former husband, Roy Carter of Hollister. She is predeceased by three sisters and two brothers.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 11th, 2010, at 10:30 A.M. in the chapel of Grunnagle-Ament-Nelson Funeral Home, 870 San Benito St., Hollister, CA95023. Graveside services will be on Saturday, June 12th, 2010, at 10:00 A.M. at Los Gatos Memorial Park, 2255 Los Gatos-Almaden Rd., Los Gatos.
