Anita Doris,80, of Salinas, passed away at Natividad Medical Center on Tuesday, Oct. 3, 2006 in Salinas.
She was born May 24, 1926 in Hollister, CA. She was a retired Telephone Operator for AT & T.
Anita enjoyed spending time with her family, crocheting, cooking, shopping, and watching her favorite TV programs. She was loved dearly and will be missed greatly by her family and friends. She was a member of Communication Workers of American and Sacred Heart Church.
SURVIVORS: Husband of 60 years- Joe Doris of Salinas; 2 sons – John (Vera) Doris of Salinas and David Doris of Salinas; 3 daughters – Cathy (Jess) Garza of Hollister, CA, Mary (Don) Howard of Lakeport, CA, and Cindy (Chuck) Cassinelli of Salinas; 8 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren
VISITATION: Thursday, October 5, 2006 from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Struve and Laporte Chapel.
FUNERAL MASS: will be held Friday, October 6, 2006 at 1:00 PM at Madonna del Sasso Church in Salinas.
ENTOMBMENT: will follow in the Garden of Memories Cemetery.
