Ann Rezac Miller, 65, passed away at her home in Gilroy Saturday, March 8, 2003.

She was the wife of the late Hiram “Hy” Miller. She was a loving mother and is survived by her son Bill Miller of Gilroy; her daughter and her husband, Laura and John Hansen of Discovery Bay; and her son and his wife, Tom and Tracey Miller of Pleasanton. She was the dear grandmother of Joshua and Danielle Miller both of Gilroy; Heather, Natalie and Jennifer Hansen all of Discovery Bay; and Kayla, Collin and Jack Miller of Pleasanton.

Her sister Ella Michel of San Francisco preceded her in death.

Ann was born and raised in Knox, Ind. (just outside of Chicago, Ill.), moving to Gilroy in 1971 with her late husband, Hy, and her children.

Mrs. Miller worked at Hope Rehabilitation in Hollister in the 1970s. She also worked at Gavilan College in the ESL and reading programs during the 1980s. Mrs. Miller was then employed at Santa Clara County in the Human Resources Department and after 10 years there, she retired. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Mrs. Miller also enjoyed traveling and volunteering for different charities including Santa Clara County Fair Arts Committee. She was a member of Women In Touch.

Funeral Services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Habing Family Funeral Home, Gilroy.

Burial will follow at Gavilan Hills Memorial Park, Gilroy. Visitation will begin on Thursday at 9 a.m.
