DEAR EDITOR:
Gilroy City Council Members: Your analysis comparing Gilroy and Morgan Hill’s proposed police stations as “apples and oranges” is a shining example of exactly how short-sighted you really are. The issue here is that the entire USA is broke but in Gilroy the City Council continues to spend, spend, spend.
The removal of the $5.4 million clock from this Taj Mahal was a laughable bit of tokenism. I praise Morgan Hill for taking a sensible, economic approach to their problem.
The economy of the USA is spinning down the toilet but the Gilroy City Council just doesn’t understand. They are supposed to represent our best interest but they keep picking our pockets.
