Two men burst into JV Liquors on First Street at 12:22 a.m. on Nov. 24 with a rifle or shotgun, one man standing watch over the clerk while the other allegedly removed cash from the register.Â
The suspects threatened to shoot the clerk as they gathered the money, and punched him in the face on their way out of the store. The two men then hopped into an older model, dark-colored four-door vehicle and fled the scene.Â
They also stole several packs of cigarettes from behind the counter.Â
The clerk said that both men wore hooded sweatshirts and jeans. One was described as being between 5′ 10″ and 6′ 2″ and around 200 pounds. The other was said to be between 5′ 7″ and 170 to 180 pounds.Â
