‘Nutcracker’
Nothing gets you quite in the holiday spirit like a visit to the Land of Sweets with the Sugar Plum Fairy. The San Benito Dance Academy will hold its third annual presentation of The “Nutcracker” at 2 and 7 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at the Gavilan College Theater, 5055 Santa Teresa Blvd. Tickets are $20 for adults and $17 for children under 12 and senior citizens. Elvis sighting
Take a break from your holiday shopping to watch Donald “Elvis” Prieto and the Hound Dogs perform in a benefit concert at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at the Granada Theater in Hollister. Cost: $15 at the door, $12 in advance, children 12 and under are free. Details: www.sanbenitostage.org.
Folklorico dance recital

‘La Virgen del Tepeyac’
This is the last weekend to catch El Teatro Campeisno’s holiday production of “La Virgen del Tepeyac” that shows at 8 p.m. Saturday and 4 and 7:30 p.m. Sunday at the Playhouse in San Juan Bautista, 705 Fourth St. Cost: $14 to $32. Details: 623-2444 or www.elteatrocampesino.com.
‘Noises Off’
