DEAR EDITOR:
I wanted to express my deepest sorrow to the family of the young man whose life was cut short in the recent accident, my prayers are with you. I wanted to say to James Mohs, chief photographer and Peter Crowley, reporter, just how disgusted I am with how you exploited the most devastating time of a parent’s life. A parent can suffer nothing more horrible. It seems to me, you couldn’t wait to take a picture of someone who just lost a loved one so tragically. Has The Dispatch turned into the paparazzi? It seems so. I also believe the public had no business knowing ALL of the details of this horrible tragedy. You should be ashamed. I am.
You ripped whatever privacy these parents had away from them. I hope you’re proud, I think you’re morbid. Did they even know you took their picture? I assume not, since if they did, I’m sure that camera would be up your nose! God forbid this tragedy should happen to anyone, but if it happens to you, I’d like to see your reaction when a picture of your suffering is plastered on the front page.
