Gavin Long went 3-for-4 with two doubles, a triple, five RBIs and two runs scored to power the College of San Mateo baseball team to an 11-2 home win over Gavilan on Thursday.

San Mateo (22-14) piled up 14 hits. Gavilan, which lost for the sixth time in seven games, finished the regular season 18-18 overall and 11-13 in the Coast Conference.

Connor Sutton hit a solo home run for the Rams, and teammate Brandt Burns was 2-for-3.
