Baseball: Valdez shines, but CHS falls in tourney

Pat Valdez had two hits, and Robert Driscal doubled and drove in a run, but Christopher High’s baseball team suffered a 4-1 loss to Wilcox to open the Valley Christian tourney Monday.
Valdez doubled and Kevin Willard scored a run for the Cougars, who made five errors.
