Bette passed away surrounded by family in Jackson Ca. on July 14th 2008 of cancer. She was 77 years old.
Born in Lawton, Oklahoma she lived in Hollister for over 20 years before finally settling in Jackson, Ca.
Bette loved to cook, paint, draw, gardening, and crocheting. She made many wonderful blankets and slippers for her family. She loved listening to music, dancing, and her Cadillac!
She is preceded in death by her mother Ruby Rowland, father Armur Allred, sister Peggy Lee Allred, and son in law Jim Jones.
Bette leaves behind 3 brothers Jack Hamilton, Kendall Hamilton, and R.C. (Tim) Allred who lovingly called her Pug. 3 Daughters Trudy Nicodemus and her husband Mark, Vickie Walker, and Jody Jones.
She has 15 grandchildren. Ashley Burns, David Deshazer, Peggy Miller, Joe Himmel, Tim Miller, Kim Branco, John and Michelle Littlejohn, Trevor, Tiffany, and Tyler Trimble, Audrey Jones, Serena, Michelle, and Michael Nicodemus.
She had 7 great -grandchildren. Baylee Walker, Cody Louis, Shawna Mitchell, Kimberlee Littlejohn, Sydnie Deshazer, Kyle and Kevin Bloodworth. She also cared for many children who also called her Grandma.
A private family service will be held in Redding Ca. Family requests that any contributions be made in her name to the American Cancer Society or the Alzheimers Assoc.
