E. J. Mendoza hit a three-run home run and Gabe Hernandez lashed five hits for BM Construction. Maciel Urenda added four hits and scored five runs.

Justin Nicholson anchored the DS Builders offense with a home run, triple and two singles. Daniel Fellows went 4-for-4 with three RBI.

The Las Animas Sweepers rallied for six runs in the bottom of the seventh inning to edge Keller Heating 12-11.

The Sweepers stroked seven consecutive hits to fashion the comeback, keyed by a two-run single from Joey Lovecchio and a clinching three-run double by Donnie Gooding.

Brent Boyd went 4-for-4 with a home run for Keller. Gooding added a homer and double to the Sweeper effort.

Five Star Motors is 5-0 atop the Men’s CCC League standings after an 8-5 nod over Louie & the Outlaws Monday at Las Animas Park.

Greg Lugo collected a double and two singles to lead the Motormen. Rhino Souza scored two runs and Phil Ruiz singled and doubled for the winners. Robert Pena singled and tripled for the Outlaws.

Bryan Merkel hit a grand slam and a solo blast as Campbell’s Towing powered past the Hit Men 26-6.

Jason Morton roped a three-run home run in a 4-for-5 effort for the Tow club. Lance Hedrik and Brandon Straw each netted four Campbell’s hits. David Signorotti tripled and singled the Hit Men.

Phil Clark, Justin Barroza and Justin Tandy homered in a six-run fifth inning as the Desperados pulled away from Chris Costello Electric 16-10.

Bob Stuve and Mike Faria managed three singles apiece and Dustin Hyer homered for the Desperados. Steve Lemberger cracked three extra-base hits for Chris Costello Electric.
