Local volunteers stand on the steps of the Carnegie Library

The Gilroy Historical Society is holding its 3rd Annual Museum Bowl-A-Thon at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 26 at Gilroy Bowl, located at 7554 Monterey St. in downtown Gilroy.

The event will raise money for the museum’s endowment fund. A pledge form is needed to sign up family and friends to commit their support. Form your own team of four bowlers, or sign up as an individual and form a team at the event. If you want to support the Historical Society, but you don’t want to bowl, you can pledge sponsor someone who is bowling instead.

The $25 per person entry fee and pledge forms are due Jan. 16, with the option of adding more pledges after that date. Turn the pledge forms into Linda White, Connie Rogers or at the Gilroy Museum 195 Fifth St. in Gilroy.

Entry fee includes: three games, shoe rental and buffet snacks. Tokens of participation and for the highest number of pledges will be awarded.
