BOYS JV HOOPS: Mustangs close season with 44-35 victory

Brendan Holler posted 16 points, teammates Troy Charvet and Greg Spellman contributed 10 and nine, respectively, as the Gilroy High junior varsity basketball team closed the 2010-11 season on a winning note, defeating Salinas 44-35 on Friday night in Gilroy.

The Mustangs placed second in the Tri-County Athletic League, going 18-6 overall and 9-3 in league action.
