Acorns distance themselves from Cougars in second half.
The Christopher High boys varsity soccer team trailed 1-0 at halftime but soon saw the slim deficit balloon in the second as Live Oak defeated the Cougars 4-0 in non-league action Tuesday in Morgan Hill.

The second-year head coach added that he felt his players manufactured quality opportunities with regularity, though the goals didn’t follow.

“We were connecting passes and had chances,” he said. “We just didn’t put them away.”
