Agent honored for volunteerism
Gilroy – Allstate honored local personal financial representative Arline Silva for her volunteerism with the Theater Angels Art League by awarding the organization a $500 grant as part of The Allstate Foundation’s Agency Hands in the Community (AHIC) program.
“It’s great to work for a company that values community service,” said Silva. “I’m thrilled that Allstate chose to support an organization that I care deeply about.”
The grant will go toward supplementing music and art programs at primary schools in the community, exposing children to musical instruments and lessons, as well as theater arts. Silva has been involved with the League for more than ten years.
The AHIC program, which began in 2003, recognizes Allstate agent and personal financial representative volunteerism within the community and provides financial support to organizations through The Allstate Foundation.
