Leal Vineyards will host “An Evening of Wine Tasting” to benefit the St. Mary School Endowment Fund on Saturday, Feb. 5, from 7 to 10pm. Enjoy wine tasting and hors d’oeuvres for only $35 per person.

Biking Group

The Health Ministries Program of Gilroy Presbyterian Church is sponsoring a Biking Group every Saturday, at 8:30am, leaving from the parking lot by First Street Coffee House, located at the corner of First Street and Westwood Drive.

Shorter, recreationally paced short loop rides will be followed by longer, more challenging loops.

Books For Sale

Friends of the Morgan Hill Library hold a used book sale on the first Saturday of the month from 10am to 5pm and on the third Wednesday of each month from 10am to 6pm in the library meeting room, 17575 Peak Ave., Morgan Hill.

Gavilan Joggers And Striders Running Club

Meets at 8:15am every Saturday at Christmas Hill Park, near the entrance. Jog two to three miles including short track workout. Beginner joggers and those who would like to compete in running events are welcome.

Fellowship Dinner

Bethany Church will host a fellowship dinner from 3:30 to 5pm at 8095 Kelton Drive in Gilroy.

The dinner will follow the service held at 1pm. Everyone is invited to share in the love and friendship while grabbing a bite to eat.

Get Up And Go Running

Meets at 8am every Sunday near the corner of Santa Teresa Boulevard and First Street. The club runs four to eight miles.

Griefshare, a grief recovery support group, holds weekly meetings at First Baptist Church, 8455 Wren Ave., from 7 to 9pm in the Choir room. Each session includes a video featuring experts on grief and recovery subjects.

RPEA Meeting

The Retired Public Employees Association, Chapter #086, meets on the first Monday of each month at 1pm at the Gilroy Senior Center, 7371 Hanna St.

Anyone who is interested in theater is invited to attend a free play-reading event called ‘First Monday’ at Gavilan. The readings will be at 6:30pm at the Gavilan College Theater, 5055 Santa Teresa Blvd.

Pasta To Benefit Choir

Sam Bozzo presents his pasta tre’colore during “Spaghetti Dinner” Wednesday, Feb. 9, from 5 to 8pm in the Brownell Gym. Cost is only $5 for adults and $4 for kids 12 or under. Raffle tickets are only $5 each.

Takeout is also available; containers are provided. Proceeds will benefit the Giroy High School Choir Program.
