title, Recology South Valley.

South Valley Disposal & Recycling is getting a name makeover. The disposal and recycling provider, serving businesses and residents of Gilroy, Morgan Hill and surrounding areas, is being re-branded the catchy title, Recology South Valley.
“In keeping with our company’s long history of dedication to the environment, we are changing our name to signal that we are leading the evolution of the waste industry,” said Phil Couchee, General Manager of South Valley Disposal & Recycling, now Recology South Valley. “With roots in words like recycling, renewal, reuse and reduction, Recology is the next step in environmental preservation through disposal ingenuity.”
Recology South Valley is a name change only and does not affect the ownership or organizational structure of the company. Recology South Valley prides itself in being a 100% employee-owned company, dedicated to giving back to the community while providing participants with the opportunity and tools to manage their waste in an eco-friendly and responsible manner.
Customers of Recology South Valley will notice the new name and logo on trucks, invoices, and other literature they may receive. All collections and services provided remain the same.

Salute the best
The Morgan Hill Chamber of Commerce is now accepting nominations for the Salute Awards, which recognize those in our community who show leadership and community spirit. Categories include Man and Woman of the Year, Small and Large Business of the Year, Educator and Student of the Year. Nomination forms can be picked up at the Chamber office or at www.morganhill.org. Nominations and must be received by 5 p.m. Friday.
Women in business
The monthly women in business luncheon will be held from 11:30 to 1 p.m. Thursday at Coyote Creek Golf Club. $25 members / $35 non-members. RSVP is required for this event. Details: www.morganhill.org.
