GILROY – Cencal Autobody claimed the Men’s Fall D League softball title Tuesday by defeating the Players 16-6 in the finals at Las Animas Park.

Chris Peckham lined a three-run home run, Mike Richey a two-run poke as Cencal completed the season with a 9-1 mark.

Cencal opened Tuesday’s playoff series with a 15-11 win over Blackout Window Tinting.

Trailing 6-4 after three innings, Cencal posted 10 runs on the board in the fourth, keyed by two hits each from Rolo Marquez and Simon Acosta. Isaac Seymour paced the winners with a two-run home run and a two-run single. Matt Elam anchored the Blackout offense with three home runs producing seven RBI.

Joe Ojeda went 4-for-4 with a home run and Gary Diaz went 4-for-4 as the Players trimmed Gamers In Control 14-6 in the second semi-final. Gilbert Ramirez doubled and singled for the Gamers.

Los Pistoleros won two games Wednesday to take the Men’s Fall D title.

Eddie Flores and Zeke Lopez each homered as Los Pistoleros took the opener 20-7 over Team Wicked. Brian Fialkowsky went 3-for-3 and drove in three Wicked runs.

The Bomb Squad upset the Royals 11-5 in the second semi-final. Cesar Vasquez hit two home runs, George Espinosa scored three runs and Irineo Torres plated three runs for the Squad. Jeff DiDomenico tripled and singled for the Royals.

Joel Lopez homered twice as Los Pistoleros topped the Bomb Squad 19-14 in the finals. Tito Flores and Jason Trujillo each homered in a four-hit effort. Vasquez stroked a two-run home run in an 11-run fifth for the Squad.

C&R Communications outlasted regular-season titlist Los Gigantes 12-10 Monday in Men’s Fall C action.

C&R will play Los Gigantes Monday Oct. 27 at 8:50pm for the souvenir t-shirts.

Los Gigantes topped Most Wanted 10-5 in Monday’s opener. Jeremy Page went 3-for-3 and Eddie Vargas homered for the winners. Lionel Ortiz lined a two-run single for the Wanted.

C&R Communications topped Tax Systems 14-9 as David Sotelo went 3-for-4. Daniel Hernandez homered and Anthony Bussey went 3-for-4 for Tax Systems.

C&R erased a 10-6 deficit after five innings in the finals by striking for six runs in the sixth. Jesse Gonzalez hit a three-run home run, Mike Garcia a solo blast in the rally. Matias Franco, Noe DeLaTorre, Page and Kurt Gitmed homered for Los Gigantes.
