Despite falling in its final two matches, the Christopher volleyball team is in the playoffs.
The Cougars will open a Central Coast Section Division II run Wednesday at Branham starting at 7 p.m.
The Bruins are the No. 3 team from the Blossom Valley Athletic League-Mt. Hamilton Division, going 18-13 overall and 9-5 in league play.
Branham will throw a tandem of juniors at the Cougars, led by Sydney Voss, who has 353 kills on the year. Her partner Sydney Lindsey has 219 kills.
Voss also leads the team in aces while Lindsey leads in blocks.
The winner will have to face No. 1 seeded Mitty 1 p.m. Saturday.
