Clara Ann Bonaccorso passed away at her home in Morgan Hill on Friday, Aug. 21, 2003.
Ann was born in Santa Clara in 1925 and lived most of her life in Morgan Hill. She graduated from Live Oak High School in 1943.
Ann was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who lived her life in loving service for her family. She is survived by her son, Matthew Joseph Bonaccorso and his wife, Timary Ann of La Canada Flintridge; two granddaughters, Annie (12) and Emily (5) who she loved very much; and a brother, John Moreno and his wife, Elena and a sister Mary Puppo and husband Victor, all residing in Morgan Hill.
Ann was an active member of St. Catherine’s parish and formerly volunteered with their Reach Out program. In addition to family gatherings, Ann loved to read, enjoyed doing needlepoint and having frequent luncheon engagements with sister-in-law, Ann Gualtieri and friends. She was a current member of the Itlalian Mothers Club and St. Catherine’s Over 50s group and a former member of Women in Touch.
Father Edwin of St. Catherine Church led the vigil service on Sunday evening at Johnson Funeral Home and Father Truyen led the funeral mass on Monday. Ann is laid to rest at Mt. Hope Cemetery alongside her husband, Matthew, who preceded her in death.
