Mohammad Sonan, 15, of Union City, was injured just before 4pm Wednesday at the Union 76 Gas Station at the intersection of San Ysidro Avenue and Leavesley Road. The boy's mother, Farhat Sonan, said a woman driving a Toyota V8 SUV, pulling up to the pump, ran over her son's leg as he walked from their car to buy water inside the station. The driver told Corporal Veronica Georges that she was driving at a normal speed. Police are investigating the accident to see if a collision did occur, looking at impact indicators on the vehicle.
