So it has come to pass. The payoff for the multi-culturalism is upon us. A couple of days ago, I had stopped to see why there was a crowd of truant teens milling about the D-Mart shopping center parking lot. Sitting at a safe distance on my trusty steed, a capitalist pig 2005 BMW luxury touring motorcycle, I watched the spectacle.
Suddenly, the throng of hooligan invaders protesting against securing our borders to stop the flow of criminal illegal aliens started quickly in my direction waving several Mexican flags and yelling slogans in Spanish. This scene was repeated around the country in a loud, but mostly non-violent manner. We now have amongst us a large number of bold scofflaws who reject the rule of law and are demanding free healthcare, free services, free education, driver’s licenses and, last but not least, immediate citizenship.
Now I am just guessing when I say there will be a backlash from a great majority of citizens of all nationalities. The citizens that were either born here or came here legally and earned their citizenship will not be happy that these illegal aliens took cuts in line. Don’t give me the straw man argument that illegal aliens have somehow earned these rights by working here illegally. While they may pay some taxes, they do not cover the huge burden they put on our healthcare and educational systems, for example. Working here and paying taxes is not a pathway to citizenship anymore than a bank robber becomes a customer of the bank he’s robbed.
There is a partial cure.
First, prosecute and jail any employer who hires an illegal alien. Second, immediately stop providing any and all medical services other than emergency care. Third, we must amend the 14th Amendment to preclude the “anchor baby” abuse by which pregnant Mexican women come into the United States and have their baby and presto, instant citizenship for the baby, and the parents can stay, too! Fourth, build a huge wall to protect our sovereignty from the daily onslaught from our invaders.
There is little empirical evidence that documents American citizens trying to escape the U.S. for a better life in Mexico. You say the fence won’t stop them. Patrol the border with fully armed Blackhawk helicopters. Our national security demands it. Fifth, there should be no education for illegal aliens. Lastly, rounding up and deporting illegals, while logistically improbable, would be the just thing to do. Just because there are too many crooks is no reason to stop enforcing the law.
I read one quote from The Dispatch’s coverage of the protest, where a student said that she considers herself a Mexican, not an American. Young lady, so do I.
