David M. Rangel Jr. died Aug. 2, 2003. He was 45 years old. He was a resident of Gilroy but grew up in Watsonville.
He is survived by his beloved father David Rangel Sr., daughter Margarita Rangel and sons Rene and David Rangel III. He leaves behind his only grandchild Tinna McDuff. He was also the beloved brother of Petra Moreno, Yolanda Garcia, Santos Rangel, and Ruben Rangel.
He enjoyed life, riding low and slow and listening to music. He wanted to be remembered with a smile as he always had.
Visitation will be held at Mehl’s Colonial Chapel today from 5 to 9 p.m. with a reciting of the Holy Rosary at 6 p.m.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Assumption Church Friday at 10 a.m. with burial to follow at Valley Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of Mehl’s Colonial Chapel, Watsonville.
