Dear Editor,

On Nov. 4, The Dispatch printed an article titled, “Dover beats Willis.” This is wrong! I don’t lose! In order to lose a person must be running for themselves to satisfy their ego and superior mentality.

I run for office to represent the people, to protect the taxpayers, and to give the people a voice. There were 6,006 voters that acknowledged abuse within the system who were looking to correct that abuse. There were 15,975 voters that were uninformed and/or chose to ignore the truth. There were an unknown number of people that did not vote because they are disillusioned with the system.

A note to the 6,006 voters that did support me and to the voters that did not vote because they are disillusioned and think that they can no longer believe in the political system, I want them to know that I’m not going to abandon them. I intent to continual my fight for truth and justice on behalf of the taxpayers.

Manly R. Willis, Gilroy
