Dolores Bettencourt January 4, 1933 – August 28, 2013

 Dolores passed away August 28, 2013, at age 80 peacefully surrounded by family and friends at home. She is survived by her sons, Bobby (MJ) and Lester (Darcy), daughter Tarasa “Penny” Bettencourt, sister Linda (Jerry) Page, sister-in-law Brenda Moore and nine grandchildren.
 Preceded in death by her husband of 64 years Manuel L. Bettencourt, son Manuel Jr, grandson Dustin, brothers Bobby Moore, Terry Moore and sister Nina Mikesell. Dolores loved life, she had a passion for cooking and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
 She was born in Atwood, KS and grew up in Fort Bragg and Willits, CA.
 She was raised by her parents Earl and Dolores Bohall Moore.
 She met her husband Manuel in 1947 when her family came to Sunnyvale, to work during cannery season. It was love at first sight and they were soon married. She spent the next 66 years as owner/bookkeeper of Bettencourt and Sons Trucking, as well as running her own catering business “The Golden Platter” for thirty years.
 Dolores enjoyed going to Portuguese Festa. She was a member of I.F.D.E.S, D.E.S, and S.E.S. She enjoyed traveling places and spending time with her husband. She will be dearly missed by family and friends.
