I’m a lifelong Cleveland Browns fan and I just read Scott Forstner’s column bashing himself for possibly jumping the gun on the Jeff Garcia signing.
He should not feel bad at all. I can’t think of a better source for a story than a man’s father. There’s no need for further proof. He played it right and shouldn’t be gun-shy if another exclusive story should break.
I also think that he displayed a lot of class by not blaming Mr. Garcia for the mix up.
As for the Browns fans, they’re so glad to get a real quarterback that nothing will stop their giddiness.
