Eight players from the Christopher High varsity field hockey team earned all-league awards following the 2011 season in which the Cougars finished third in the Mission Trail Athletic League – one win shy of making the postseason.
Maddie Peterson and Danielle Dias were named to the first-team, Haylee Peterson and Erika Velasquez to the second-team, Mariah Martinez and Abigail Smith Honorable Mention and Sophia Amelio and Kristen Mank were selected as recipients of the Sportsmanship Award.
The Cougars posted program best’s in wins with nine and goals scored with 32.
