A call from a resident brought police to the bridge at Church
Street and Farrell Avenue where officers found two 15-year-old
males in the process of spray painting the bridge with graffiti
about 3:40 p.m. Wednesday, police said. A 16-year-old male was
found in possession of a can of spray paint. Two additional
15-year-olds at the scene were also arrested. All five were cited
for misdemeanor vandalism and released to the custody of their
parents.

“This is great example of the community and the Gilroy Police Department working in partnership to deter crime within the city of Gilroy,” Sgt. Jim Gillio said.
