GILROY – Dispatch readers have suggested a long list of names for a new line of motorcycles Rey Sotelo and George Nobile plan to start building this fall in Gilroy.
Sotelo, of Gilroy, and Nobile, of Santa Clara, may not take any of them, however. The two are considering tying their fortunes to a company that could lend its brand to the bike’s nameplate, Nobile said last week.
“Rey and I have been in negotiations recently (regarding our involvement with a motorcycle company), and unfortunately, we cannot discuss any specifics at this time,” Nobile said Wednesday.
“The current negotiations, if played out, will affect the name of the motorcycle.”
