first spring training with the Cleveland Indians could land the
versatile ballplayer a spot with the club at some point this
season.
COLUMBUS, OHIO – Chris Gimenez may not have made it to the Big Leagues quite yet, but the impression the Gilroy native made over the course of his first spring training with the Cleveland Indians could land the versatile ballplayer a spot with the club at some point this season. For now, Gimenez will be playing catcher amongst other positions for the Columbus Clippers, the Indians’ Triple-A affiliate.
