Dear Editor:
While “Our Voice” on Tuesday is more eloquently written and politically correct than what I write, it was noble of The Dispatch to publically denounce Springerism. Springerism is finally dead! Goodbye and good riddance.
Just as Gray Davis was to the Democrats, so was Springer to the Republicans; but at least Davis was recalled.
Unfortunately for Gilroy, Springerism and his guerrilla-style political tactics only perpetuated Gilroy as Santa Clara County’s stepchild. I wonder how many times Springerism antics inter-meddled with the good work of our supervisor, Mr. Don Gage. Now we can get back to Americanism, real democracy and the thoughtful, mindful consensus-building, open-door philosophy of May-elect Mr. Al Pinheiro. The chill on free speech and democracy this fascist created is gone!
