Monterey took first with a 226 and Watsonville placed second with a 258 in the season’s first league tournament.
Our players presented themselves very well,” CHS head coach Mike Hoshida said. “There was no lack of effort. I was very happy with our team.”
Tyson Hill carded the Cougars’ low round with a 49 while Peter Hilkene and Steven Lerma posted rounds in the low 50s with a 53 and 54, respectively.
Dillon Romero (58), RJ Montez (63) and Jaeshawn Hoenck (68) round out the Cougars’ roster.
CHS’s next league tournament is slated for the Old Del Monte Course on Monday.
