music in the park san jose

Dear Editor,

During all the controversy about Rush Limbaugh and his most inappropriate and hateful remarks regarding Ms. Fluke everyone seems to forget that for every woman who is having sex in which she needs birth control, there is a man involved.

If the women are “having too much sex”, who is providing it? Men have a whole different set of rules. Anyone can walk into any pharmacy or supermarket and buy condoms and this seems to be okay with the people who are determined to take away women’s rights.

A lot of insurance policies cover ED drugs and testerone creams. This is all fine with me, but obviously it’s a double standard. Why are the loudmouths so down on women’s contraceptives, but for men it’s all good? Who determines what’s “a lot” of sex anyway? Since none of these men are paying for the women’s insurance (and neither is the taxpayer) it’s none of their business. Columnist Lisa Pampuch wrote a good article, but she left out the men’s part in this as has everyone else who has discussed this.  What’s good for the goose should be good for the gander.
