A cool new fundraiser will generate proceeds for the Gilroy Museum and the Friends of Gilroy Hot Springs – a local advocacy group working to preserve and restore a natural oasis tucked away in the mountainous heart of Henry Coe State Park.

A triple panorama of Gilroy Hot Springs, a historic resort that opened in 1866 and is now on the National Register of Historic Places, will soon be available for purchase. The photo was taken in the early 1900s.

The 20” x 30” photo is printed on heavy paper and can be ordered mounted on poster board or even framed. Prices have not yet been set. There are several sizes to choose from. Samples can be viewed at the Gilroy Museum, located at 195 Fifth Street.

Those interested in purchasing a print can visit the Gilroy Museum, or inquire with the Friends of Gilroy Hot Springs by visiting their website at friendsofgilroyhotsprings.org.

If you recognize the photos and have information to add, such as identification of the people or automobiles, please email Phill Laursen at ph******@gm***.com
