FOSMAS kitten
Today’s post is from Ava Geddes, FOSMAS Treasurer:

Our FOSMAS Rummage Sale is almost here and we need your help, please. We still need:

    1.    Folding tables (6′ and 8′) – need lots.  Please take to the sale area (behind our Shelter) ASAP so Kim can set-up more display areas. Please write your name and phone # on the tables so we know who owns which tables.

    2.    Boxes (for customers to take items too big for bags, and to pack unsold items after the sale) – need lots

    3.    Volunteers before, during, and after the sale

            a.    Before – Help Kim move items to tables for display

            b.    During – Help customers with questions, carry items to cars, bring carts back, bring out new items, cashier, bag items, etc.

            c.    After – Box-up unsold items.  Transport to Goodwill, Salvation Army, and/or dump.  Pick-up trucks, vans, and trailers are most needed.

Please note if you have teenagers who need community service hours for school, this would be good for them and good for Kim and her rummage sale team, especially for after the sale.  The kids need adult supervisors to come with them, help with clean-up tasks, and ensure their safety.

    4.    Dump vouchers so we don’t have to pay disposal fees and can instead use funds raised to help our animals.  If you don’t plan to use your Recology dump vouchers for your personal use and are willing to take items to the dump (since they require ID), having these vouchers will be very beneficial.

Please contact Kim at ju*****@ve*****.net to let her know how you can help.

Thanks for all your help!  Our critters benefit from your generosity.
