DEAR EDITOR:
I have four children ages 6, 7, 13, 14, and I work full time.
A typical day for me begins at 6 a.m., shower, put together a matching outfit, not to mention hair, and make-up! No sooner than I can take a breath, it’s 7 a.m. – get the kids up, the most challenging part of the day. My Dad (God bless him) picks up the kids and drives them to school. I try to be out the door by 7:15, this to continue with a 45-minute commute. Arrive at work, get to my desk, grab a cup of much-needed coffee – a full and busy day to get through.
I’m home by 6 p.m., with much appreciation to my husband I’m greeted with dinner. My goal is to get homework covered by 7:30 p.m., bath for the little ones, get them to bed by 9 p.m.
I then try and get as much prepared as possible for the next day. Believe it or not my house and laundry are under control; well most of the time anyway. To answer your columnist’s question, “so how do these women do it?” I have absolutely no idea.

Morgan Hill
