She was born on April 17, 1934, in North Dakota. Formerly a resident of San Jose and Morgan Hill. Janice lived in Manteca for the last seven years. She loved calling Bingo at the Manteca Senior Center. She and her husband Barney, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in February with friends and family, followed by a trip to Hawaii.
Mrs. Loek is survived by her husband, Byron “Barney” Loek of Manteca; children, Debra, Randy, Diane (McBee), Rick and Wendy; sisters, Beverly and Mary Lee; brother Gary; 12 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations in memory of Jan Loek be made to the Hospice of San Joaquin County, 2609 E. Hammer Lane, Stockton, CA 95210; phone: 209-957-3888.
