JoAnn Byrd passed away Christmas Eve at her home in Hollister at the age of 86. Born in Nebraska, residing in San Jose for many years, retiring to Hollister in 1989.
She was a retired co-owner of Robyrdson’s Childrens Store and Market Place for Children in San Jose. Member of Ridgemark Golf and Country Club. Long time hospital volunteer at Hazel Hawkins Hospital. JoAnn was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, William Byrd.
She is survived by daughters, Susan Cull of Modesto, Terry Cole (Ben) of Riverbank, and Deborah Brennan (Walter) of Lafayette. Also Survived by nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. We were so blessed to have her as a mom, grandma and gg.
Private services will be at San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery. Contributions to your favorite charity are preferrred.
