Joe Luis Fausto “Pelon” passed away May 11, 2005 in Gilroy.
Born Sept. 12, 1959 in San Jose, “Tio Pelon” will be remembered as a wonderful man and beloved son, brother, uncle, cousin and friend. He was a person who enjoyed life, sleep-overs and late night movies. He also enjoyed family barbecues and making jokes with family and friends. He coached and played softball and baseball. He was a man with a big heart, who for many of his nieces and nephews, was more than an uncle, he was a best friend. He will be missed by all, but in our hearts forever.
He is survived by his mother and father Cruz and Micaela Fausto; brothers and sisters Ray and Gloria Aguilar, Joe and Nancy Aguilar, Micaela Fausto, Mario Fausto, Lupe Fausto, Abraham Rosado, and Alfonso Aguilar all of Gilroy, Cruz and Marcella Fausto of San Martin, and Jesse Fausto of Sacramento; niece and nephew Veronica Rodriguez and Paulo Sergio Reis Jr. “Tootsie” of Gilroy, who he loved like a daughter and son, as well as many more nieces and nephews.
Vigil services will take place at 7pm on Monday, May 16 at Habing Family Funeral Home in Gilroy. Funeral services will be at the funeral home at 9:30am Tuesday, May 17 with a 10:30am Mass at St. Mary Catholic Church, followed by burial at St. Mary Catholic Cemetery.
