GILROY – The annual Summer Children’s Theater Production will be “Disco Island,” this year, and will feature the music of the 1970’s in a tropical paradise.
Performances at the South Valley Junior High School cafeteria, 385 I.O.O.F. Ave. begin Aug. 6. Doors open at 7 p.m. and shows begin at 7:30 p.m. The performance will be held Aug. 6-8, 11-15 and 18-21. Tickets are $10, and proceeds benefit City of Gilroy Youth programs. Pinnacles Programs
PINNACLES – Pinnacles National Monument is offering a series of night hikes and programs this summer, in the East District of the park. All night hikes/programs take place on Saturdays. Reservations are required and accepted no more than two weeks in advance. On Aug. 14, the park will have a Dark Sky program. Bring a flashlight.
