Law enforcement agencies countywide arrested 141 individuals for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs during the recent Fourth of July weekend, according to the Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Department.
Officials representing 15 county agencies participated in the holiday DUI crackdown, which ran from 12:01 a.m. Friday through 11:59 p.m. Monday.
No DUI-related fatalities were reported.
Officers arrested 94 individuals for driving under the influence during the same time last year, according to the Sheriff’s department.
