Fikse’s 697 series top in men’s division; Lewis’s 674 best in
women’s division; Escobedo’s 656 top in senior’s division
GILROY – The pins had no chance at Gilroy Bowl last week as league action continued with Gary Fikse’s 697 three-game series topping the men’s division; Tammy Lewis’s 674 series besting the women’s division; and Rudy Escobedo’s 656 series topping the senior’s division.

Rounding out the men’s field were: Joe Cornejo (680 series, 264 high); Allen Wolfe (264 high); Frank Campanella (673 series, 234 high); Del Corral (629 series, 225 high); Jordan Regallo (655 series, 246 high); Steve Boggs (602 series, 224 high); Mark Felice (213 high); Ray Bravo (213 high); Rick Mello (660 series); Frank Castaneda (652 series, 246 high); and Mike Fuentez (694 series, 234 high).

Completing the women’s field were: Barbara Lemburger (200 high); Dawn Wilson (201 high); Joline Furuya (202 high); Helen Ortega (210 high); Sherry Field (213 high); and Julia Giminez (224 high).

Finishing off the senior’s field were: Manuel Gomez (603 series, 243 high); Paul Casillas (607 series, 222 high); Peggy Scudera (209 high); and Sam Bondi (573 series, 233 high).
