History: In 1989 I applied for the position of frame shop assistant at Bill’s Drugs. I seemed to pick it up quickly as it worked in well with my photography background. I left after about four years when Long’s bought out Bill’s and did away with the frame shop. An opportunity came to me when I heard The Goose Pond in Morgan Hill needed an experienced framer. When things changed as they often do, I met Charlie and Claudia at church and Claudia explained to me that Charlie had opened a frame shop in Gilroy and needed some help. I worked with some of the best people on planet Earth for almost 18 years, and became certified in conservation framing of art and textiles. Even created my own technique for framing jerseys. I guess the old saying is true, “good things (really do) come to those who wait.”
