Dear Editor:

Please forgive my 22-year-old naivete as you and the citizens of Gilroy read my letter.

It seems like everyday when I read The Dispatch, I read another letter to you regarding this verbal war against not having a Super Wal-Mart built in Gilroy. For me personally, I would see it as a great relief for some people. You would be able to go to the Super Wal-Mart and buy groceries, cleaning supplies and pantyhose all at the same time and at a cheaper price than regular supermarkets.

It would save us Gilroyan’s time and gas money buying everything we need in one store. It just baffles me why there is such dispute about this.

Whether we like it or not, times are changing. Gilroy is growing and no longer the sleepy little non-outlets city it once was. After reading most of the arguments I have seen in The Dispatch, I have to say that I really hope that a Super Wal-Mart does get built in Gilroy, along with Barnes and Noble and Chili’s.
