DEAR EDITOR:
I was confused by a recent letter to the editor by James Fennell
of Gilroy that stated

isn’t it great to know that our lame duck, pending recall
governor just signed into law the tripling of our vehicle license
fees.

So I’m confused.

When you indicate he just signed the law you meant to say it was signed five years ago in 1998 didn’t you?

And you also meant to condemn the majority of legislators, from both parties, that passed the bill, didn’t you? Maybe you’d like to review the legislation next time you write. It’s in the Revenue and Taxation Code Section 10754
