Gilroy Little League honored its best with All-Star Team selections which were announced June 6 and 7. Below is the list of selections by team:
BASEBALL
Junior team
Joseph Aguilera, JC Castaneda, Patrick Dennis, Cade Dominguez, Justin Espinola, Kevin Fortino, Diego Hsu, Jacob Longworth, Andrew Nellis, Travis Romero, Garrett Santos, Sean Straub and Ben Zanger. The team is coached by Dan Salter.
12-year-old team
Cooper Ahola, Bobby Baxter, C.J. Colyer, Ethan Gonzalez, Christopher Gorgulho, Shawn Hernandez Jr., Jake Jensema, Aidan Lee, Brendan Lodge, Jonathan Rodriguez, Sergio Sanchez, Marshall Silva and Connor Villanueva. The team is coached by Nelson Villanueva.
11-year-old team
Mateo Barba, Bryce Davis, David Ferry, Nicky Franco, Eric Goulet, Cody LaCoe, Owen McCarry, Matthew Mendosa, Zachary Miranda, Zachary Molden, Jacob Parks, Nicholas Rodriguez, Nathan Sandoval and coach Aurelio Rodriquez.

Ruben Corral, Owen Gallegos, Spencer Gorgulho, Jacob Harden, Jalen Hernandez, Justin Iwanaga, Christian James, Anthony Rodriguez, Cannon Silva, Tyler Swan, Race Thompson, Ty Torres and Louis Zulaica will be coached by Marshall Silva.
9-year-old teams

All-Star play begins with the 9-year-old teams at 2 p.m. June 14 at Eastridge. The Junior and 12-year-old All Stars will play at 11 a.m. June 21 at Gilroy Sports Complex. The 10-year-olds play at 11 a.m. June 22 at Ben Painter Elementary School in San Jose, while the 11-year-olds kick off at 5:30 p.m. June 24 at Spartan Fields in San Jose.
SOFTBALL
Majors team
Kaia Adams, Nina Barry, Savanah Castro, Christal Clark, Isabella Delgado, Gabriella Howard, Trinity Jimenez, Jaime Lam, Kendall McPhillips, Alyssa Olivares, Korynn Yslava and Vanessa Zozaya. The squad will be coached by Norma Castro.
Minors team
Emily Budell, Bianca Duarte, Siena Filice, Sommer Filice, Ashley Fong, Samantha Fuhrman, Hannah Hoeptner, Alexa Keller, Alyana Rodriguez, Nina Taylor, Aubree Tomasetti, Savannah Wilson and Lauryn Yslava. They will be coached by Jason Keller.
All-Star play kicks off with the Majors taking on Eastridge at 11 a.m. June 21 at Dove Hill in San Jose . The Minors team will play Evergreen at 6 p.m. June 21 at Dove Hill.
