Monterey Mushrooms awarded scholarships to 108 local students, totaling more than $137,000. Since1992, the company has given $1,200,000 to more than 770 children of its employees throughout the entire company. The awards are determined based upon academic achievement, financial need and future potential. The awards are designed for one year at a time, for a total of four years if the student continues to meet the requirements.
