of 80.
Marzella Martinez Ruiz of Gilroy, died Aug. 1, 2004 at the age of 80.
Mrs. Ruiz was a member of New Life Fellowship in Hollister. She enjoyed spending time with her family, music, dancing, and watching cooking shows and “Novelas”. She will be missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Enrique (Henry) T. Ruiz; children, Bea Gorena of Hollister and her husband Joe, Henry C. (Hank) Ruiz of Gilroy, and Gloria Ramirez of Morgan Hill and her husband Vince; grandchildren, John Gorena and his wife Carol, Jacquelyn Gorena, and Jacob Gorena; great-granddaughter, Jade Gorena; sisters, Lita Garcia and her husband Pete, Connie Ordaz; brother, Peter Martinez and his wife Dolores; and many nieces, nephews and other family members.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister and twin brothers.
As per her wishes, private services have been held. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The American Diabetes Association. Arrangements under the direction of Habing Family Funeral Home, Gilroy.
