Patrol.
A 25-year-old Brisbane man died in a high-speed motorcycle crash on Uvas Road Thursday evening, according to California Highway Patrol.
The man was traveling south on Uvas Road north of Wallace Place between 80 and 120 miles per hour about 6:55 p.m, police said. He attempted a left turn, but the motorcycle’s front tire hit the grass and dirt shoulder, police said. The driver lost control of his motorcycle, a 2008 Yamaha, and the vehicle overturned within the intersection of Uvas and Wallace.
The front of the motorcycle collided with an asphalt curb, ejecting the driver.
Medical personnel tried to revive the driver while on scene but were unsuccessful.
The coroner has not yet released the identity of the victim.
The driver was wearing a helmet, according to the release.
