A while back I wrote a letter about what a lousy sweeping job our streets were getting.
The sequel is that the following week the operator slowed down and did a good job in the gutter, but did not clean up the mess he had pushed toward the middle of the street two weeks earlier.
In the last sweep the operator did a good job in the gutter and then made a second pass and cleaned up the mess that had been pushed to the middle a month earlier.
I don’t know whether to attribute it to the machine, the operator or management, but people on this block really appreciate the good job that was done on the last go around! We hope the service continues at this level.
